Dutton Quality Systems

Standards and awards.

Dutton Engineering has always been committed to quality and was awarded BS 5750 Part 2 in 1984. This was superseded by ISO 9001 and Dutton was one of the first companies in the country to gain this accreditation. It became a standard requirement of many customers, and Dutton has always been ‘ahead of the game’ in that respect.

In 1988, the company gained accreditation to ISO9002 Part 2 and has since achieved ISO9000:2000. This succession of accreditations shows that Dutton Engineering is committed to a quality management system at all levels.

The company is a key member of the British Quality Foundation and uses the EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) model to help drive its continuous improvement programme.
